Being that Paul worked in South Carolina for a chunk on the holiday season, we were able to spend some time in Georgia with Holly and Cameron. While we were there we toured the Mayfield Dairy.

What we have been up to...November 2012
Papa David came to visit
Aiden is trying to keep up with Papa at the playground
We spent Thanksgiving in Atlanta with Holly and Cameron. My mom and Char flew in as well, so we decided to hike Stone Mountain while we were there.
Decorating the Christmas Tree
Plenty of updates to come
I guess since I am a year behind on our blog it is time for a massive update. I am sure we don't have many visitors coming over here any more but I think it is very important to document the things we have done since this is really our only family record right now. So bear with me as there are plenty of posts and updates to come.

What we have been up to...October 2012
(Is it true? Am I really caught up on our blog? I never thought this day would come. Here's to hoping it lasts)
Macie has recently taken over one of the kitchen cabinents. She will take everything out of it and the tuck herself inside and close the door.
Matching skeleton jammies. They loved them.
Filling up the piggy bank
While daddy was working on the car one afternoon so he got his tools out and decided he was going to fix the crack in the driveway :)
We were able to meet a couple of guys from Swamp People. A little redneck yes but since I am living in the south I might as well embrace it.
Instead of carving pumpkins this year we opted for painting them instead. It was much easier and the kids had so much fun doing it.
Halloween 2012
When I asked Aiden what he wanted to be for Halloween he said he wanted to be a shark, which is what he dressed as last year. I think he just associated his shark costume with Halloween and just assumed that was what he needed to be. That was fine with me. I think the costume is really cute plus it made it super easy.
I saw a picture of a cabbage patch kid costume right before Halloween last year but I didn't have enough time to put it together so I saved it for this year. I am usually quite the procrastinator but I was so excited about her costume I think I had it ready by September I am so happy about how it turned out. She was the cutest Cabbage Patch Kid ever!
All ready to go trick or treating
Virginia Mountains
In October we headed up to the mountains in Virginia for some fall fun.
We started out at the apple festival
(These pictures are a little blurry because I didn't realize my focus was in manual mode...woops)
Apple slingin'
Next we headed to the fish hatchery
And then to the pond for a little trout fishing.
I am not much of a landscape photographer but aren't these fall colors so pretty?
Our final stop was at one last orchard for some pumpkin picking
