What we have been up to...March 2012

These are just random pictures from the month of March

My cute boy

Aiden found a $20.00 bill and this is where we later found it. (this is not the only time it has happened)

We went to Farm Days. I didn't get very many pictures and this was the best picture I could get of Aiden and his friend Will.

Pullen Park

One of the places we have discovered this year is Pullen Park.  Aiden loves this place. Is a cute mini amusement park.  It has a nice playground, a train ride, a little boat ride and a carousel. It also has a little pond that you can ride paddle boats on but we have not ventured that one yet. We often meet friends here for a morning play date of spend time as a family on the weekend.

Butler Family Reunion

In March we had a family reunion with Paul's dad's family. His dad's aunt Marjorie was in town so that whole side of the family got together at the Richmond Zoo. We had a dinner where everyone socialized at caught up and afterwards we ventured out to the zoo.
Paul's cousin, Angel, has a little boy, Ian, who is a year older then Aiden. These two love each other. When they are together they do what boys do best and it is constantly "monkey see, monkey do" with these two. I love watching them play together and I love how they love to be together. Macie and Ian's sister Kate are only months apart so it looks like we will be in for even more trouble soon enough.

Always doing what the other is doing

They love Granddaddy as much (or more) as they love each other.

A visit from the Giles

Chanda and co. came for a visit in March. We love it when the Giles come to town. I love spending time with my sister, niece and nephew, and Aiden loves following Oaklee around and wrestling with Lincoln. Macie just loves all the extra attention she gets and Paul loves having Chanda on his team to get a little bit of a rise out of me with a  bit of teasing.

It started with anxiously awaiting their arrival. Luckily they have the park at the airport to watch the planes come in and out. Somehow I convinced a few friends to come along and wait with me.

We try to plan fun things when they are here which always includes a trip to Marbles.
