A big part of our trip to Idaho was going to Warm River. It is a pretty small river near Ashton that they stock with trout. As a family we went there at least twice during our stay but Paul was probably there 4 or 5 times. It was a great place to take the kids fishing and swimming and it just might be one of Paul's favorite places on earth. The first time we went, we made a day trip of it and floated down a small part of the river several times. Macie still talks about playing motor boat with Papa David. There is also another part of the river with big fat fish that you can feed. That was probably one of the highlights for the kids.

Trip to Idaho Summer 2013...On the Road
This summer we decided to drive from North Carolina to Idaho. The adventure began in the car. I spent the month before making and gathering games and toys to keep the kids entertained during the long drive. The biggest hit was the prize bag. Every so often I let them pick a ticket. The pattern on the ticket matched up with a prize. The whole ride actually went pretty well. I may have over compensated on the entertainment but hey we got through the drive so all in all it was a success making it possible for us to try it again in a few years.
Hitting the road
We found a few new temples on the way
St Louis Temple
Kansas City Temple
By the time we saw this sign, it was the best sight ever!!
To be continued....

What we have been up to...June 2013
We started June out right by celebrating Paul's birthday at the lake. Aiden and I made fishing cupcakes for him the night before, however we did not get to enjoy them until the day after his birthday because Aiden wasn't feeling well. When we got off the water he had a fever so we just headed home instead.
Macie really started getting into all things dolls
changing baby
Pullen Park

Pool time
Rocket launch (don't mind my fingers)
